Tyler Brondyk is 24 years old and is the founder of Guys Like Us. After spending most of his life in Massachusetts, he now lives in the nation's capitol, Washington, D.C. Tyler grew up with his loving sister, Melanie, and parents, Bill and Laura. At an early age, Tyler got involved in many sports and soon found a love for soccer. After starting off on his town's 4th division team, he later went on to co-captain his high school team, played soccer at the collegiate level, and most recently, attended preseason camp with the New York Red Bulls II and played semi-professionally in Germany. Tyler has learned that trials, tribulations, and countless failures are necessary for success. The combination of hard work, persistence, and a whole lot of passion has been the mantra since the beginning. In elementary school, Tyler picked up a speech impediment, a stutter, and then just years later in middle school, he was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Patient endurance was crucial in order to overcome these challenges. Prayer and faith are two powerful instruments that have set Tyler free from these personal battles, as he now lives a life with minimal symptoms. All glory given to God.
